LIZ QUACKENBUSH
Associate Professor of Art

Liz Quackenbush received her BFA from the University of Colorado and her MFA from the School for American Craftsmen at Rochester Institute of Technology. She has exhibited extensively: the George Gardener Museum of Ceramic Arts ,Toronto; the Renwick Museum ,D.C.; The Aberysthwyth Art Center in Wales, UK; John Elder Gallery NY; Works Gallery, PA; Materia, AZ; to name just a few. Liz’s work is included in permanent collections including the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Arizona State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, the George Gardener Museum of Ceramic Arts, NECEA Permanent Collection, the Archie Bray foundation, Islip Art Museum and others. Residencies include the Archie Bray Foundation, the John Michael Kohler Arts foundation, Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts, the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, Chataugua, and the Abeysthwyth Arts Center. She has taught at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Ohio State University, Columbus, Portland School of Art, Haystack, Penland, Anderson Ranch, Arrowmont and done many additional workshops nationally and internationally. Liz was recently awarded the PCA fellowship for Individual Artist in 2005.
